Czerwienne place was set up in about 1630. Up till 60's it was called Międzyczerwienne place.

You can see here a few hundred year old lime trees which are considered as the statues of nature. In the upper part of the village there is the wooden belfry. From time to time you can see on old historic folk cottage. There are some tourist routes which go through  Czerwienne – Bachledówkę from Chochołów, Czarny Dunajec, Ciche, and Szalfar to Zakopane through Ząb and Gubałówkę.
